Tonight is my last night in Vernon. Tomorrow morning I head to Vancouver, and on Thursday I fly to London, England. So naturally I am sipping on a couple of brews with my parents and cats as we spin some vinyl. Below is an interpretation of what they taste like.
The Tin Whistle Brewing Company’s Black Widow English dark ale is a wonderful example of a BC brewery getting things right by not putting too much hop flavour where hop flavour should not be.
For those who like to say that Vernon is boring and nothing ever happens here, perhaps a trip to the BX Press Cidery would open their eyes a little to the wonders of the area.
