Several years ago when I first got into cider, this was my favourite one! Compared to all the sweet stuff from Growers and Okanagan, this was so refreshingly weird, dry, and English. And then the liquor stores in BC stopped selling it. *Riley makes a sad face*
But now that I am in England, I am finally able to drink me some Wyld Wood again! Hurrah! Let’s all listen to Wild Wood by Paul Weller!
Appearance: pale amber, 6%
Nose: sour and yeasty
Palate: lots of fruity depth.. like a deep and wild wood
Finish: tangy weirdness, a shot of sweetness, then dry
Overall: in my memory it used to be even better…
Rating: 4/5 Excellent
