Another piece of Mail Art from my sister! This is her fourth submission; I challenge you to beat her total.
I believe the line about “a refreshing summer beer” refers to our great uncle Boone, who is fond of passing one “a summer beer.” In recent decades that has meant a Busch, but in days gone by you were more likely to receive a Coors Banquet! The front also includes the top part of a leather bound book spine, titled: Ancient, Medieval, And Modern People. How odd and Ron Burgundy of her!
On the back I recognize several petals of the DavidsTea flower. There is Stella Artois, Whistler’s Grapefruit Ale, Fentiman’s Tonic Water, Mott’s Clamato Juice, White Rabbit candies, and Coors Banquet, among others that I can’t quite make out.
Thank you very much, Ms. Drunken Wannabe Botanist. Hopefully studying drunk gets you that botany degree!
