Another piece of Mail Art from my sister! This is her fourth submission; I challenge you to beat her total.
I am extremely honoured to share with you Study Drunk’s review of my blog! Study Drunk, a journey to find cheap drinks and study spots, is a blog run by a university student in Texas. Most of his posts consist of recommendations for places where you can study and drink at the same time in Austin, Texas. Then there’s also his flattering review of my blog. Thank you, kind sir!
Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit!
There, now that I’ve got my fake Irish pretensions out of the way, let’s get on to the real business. (I am one eighth Irish, don’t ya know.) St. Patrick’s Day, one of my favourite holidays; Guinness Stout, one of my favourite beers! Who knew that the Irish were actually good at a few things? Not several hundred years worth of English pigs it would seem!
Back in the days when this was a regular release, the Nelson BlackHeart Oatmeal Stout was one of the very best stouts from BC. For some reason it did not sell enough to remain a regular release, and now it is only available as a seasonal autumn release in bombers. When it came available in late 2016, my father made sure to acquire several bottles of the stuff!
Recently I went out for dinner at the BNA Brewing Co. Eatery with my Mum and Aunt in Kelowna. At the time I was too engrossed in the moment to take any notes or photos for a blog post, but in retrospect it would have been nice to take some photos of the charming interior.
A weird thing that I drank.
