This is a Scottish stout. I drank it whilst watching The History Boys with my parents. Bloody good film that.
Appearance: black, creamy head
Nose: malt sweetness
Palate: smooth, rich, creamy
Finish: espresso, milk chocolate
Overall: similar to Guinness but a touch sweeter. A good substitute if you were in the unusual position of being unable to procure a Guinness or two, but the Belhaven was handy!
Rating: 4/5 Excellent
