Recently I enjoyed a Fuller’s ESB at the Lion bar whilst wearing my Canterbury Tales shirt. Fuller’s sure do know how to make tasty beer!
The only “problem” with tasty English ales of this sort is that it is hard to describe/convey/convince via tasting notes that such a simple beer really is so good!
Appearance: amber with a nice creamy, long lasting head.
Nose: yeasty, hint of balanced hops/malt, toffee.
Palate: smooth, spicy, malty.
Finish: hops, tonic water.
Rating: 4/5 Excellent
