Recently Beer Me BC, a website dedicated to all things BC Beer, released a list of the top 10 BC Craft Beers reviewed on Beer Me BC.
This inspired me to make my own list. My list contains nine beers that I have reviewed in blog posts, and one beer that I have recently reviewed, but not yet shared my review of. Bear in mind that this list only contains beers that I have reviewed, and it will certainly change over time. When two or more beers earned the same rating, I have sorted them alphabetically.
1. Crannóg Backhand of God Stout 5/5
This superbly balanced stout has loads of coffee, dark chocolate, and soda water flavours. It is only available on draught at a select few locations in BC, and in growlers from the brewery in Sorrento (party pigs having been recently discontinued).
Another Mail Art item sent to me by my sister. This one is a collage of four different beer labels/boxes and one wine label.
Back in July I announced the commencement of a “Pubs & Alcohol” themed Mail Art exhibit on my blog. Alas I have received very little in the way of submissions, and until now I have forgotten to post what I did receive.
Here is the first item I received, a beer label collage postcard sent by my sister when she was in Nicaragua in November.
Chances are, if you read my blog, or you drink beer in BC, you’ve heard of Lighthouse Brewing Company. If you have, you likely know about their Race Rocks beer. But did you know about the Race Rocks Lighthouse? I certainly didn’t, until just over a month ago, when a friend of a friend was in need of someone to take over from him as the Race Rocks eco-guardian for the month of February.
